HOUSING AND RELOCATION

Anyone wishing to take up residence in Allschwil and who holds a foreign resident's I.D. can register at the administration center AllService (Einwohnerdienste). The registration is free of charge and has to be completed within fourteen days of moving here. You have to appear at the counter personally and bring the following documents with you:
 

• Passport from your country of origin
• The Swiss foreign resident's I.D. which confirms your residence status
• A confirmation from your employer or a work permit from the KIGA Pratteln
• The rental contract or the deed of purchase for a residence in Allschwil
• For families: marriage cerificate and the birth certificates of the children
• Two photos of all members of the family

Apply for a foreign resident's I.D.:
Anyone wishing to move to Switzerland from abroad first has to apply for a foreign resident's I.D. The application is also prepared by the administration center and forwarded by them to the relevant office. The office responsible for issuing foreign resident's I.D.s is:
